If you have a monthly membership paid by direct debit, you can pause it for any reason for a minimum of 14 days and a maximum of 2 months.

For medical reasons, on presentation of a valid medical certificate, you can pause your membership at any time and for any length of time.

Annual memberships, try-out memberships and 10-entry cards cannot be paused.

If we receive your pause request before the 25th of the month, the number of paused days will be deducted from the following month’s payment. If we receive your request after the 25th, the days will be deducted from the payment of the second month. (For example, if you ask us on 21 September to pause your membership from 1 to 15 October, you will pay 15 days less in October. But if you ask us on 27 September to pause it from 1 to 15 October, you will only pay 15 days less in November. Note: in that latter case, if you decide to end your membership for November, the October pause period cannot be refunded.) If you’d like to pause your membership, please let us know at least two working days in advance by emailing abo@petite-ile.be, stating the start and end dates of your pause. Your membership will resume automatically after the end date. You can always extend the pause by contacting us at least two working days before it ends. Shortening a pause, however, is not possible.
